“I have been working with Chelsea for about a year now. First as a strength coach and then as a nutrition coach. When we first started working together, I had zero experience with powerlifting (I didn't even know what it was) and I could not lift a 45 pound barbell. The heaviest free weight I ever lifted prior to that was a 10 pound dumbbell. However, Chelsea never made me feel stupid or weak. She encouraged me and cheered me along the way and always told me that "it's not if, but when" when it came to lifting heavier, doing push ups, pull ups, and more.
After 6 months of working with Chelsea, I realized that I didn't know how to fuel my body so that I could sufficiently support my strength training goals. So I signed up for nutrition coaching. I was very pleasantly surprised to understand that Chelsea's methods once again involved meeting me where I was at. She focused on the foods I already like to eat, including my native Indian food, and we figured out how to incorporate them into my diet. As with the strength training journey, Chelsea was so incredibly supportive and kind and also pushed me when I was faltering. But she also understood when tough personal situations got in the way and helped me figure out how to navigate them.
As you can see by the length of this post, I can cannot recommend Chelsea enough! She is a warm, encouraging coach. I am so lucky I got to work with her <3”
